About the Position

Experience with vents, telemetry, and conscious sedation. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse in the ICU. Candidates are required to work all scheduled shifts, and flexible scheduling is not accommodated. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:2 during the day and 1:3 at night. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. First-time travelers may be considered with strong experience. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Floating to other ICU units is required based on facility needs. A tele test is mandatory. Familiarity with Epic EMR is required, and candidates must be prepared to manage various patient populations. The unit primarily cares for adult medical patients with conditions such as sepsis and organ failure, as well as cardiology patients experiencing heart failure and arrhythmias. Additional skills including management of IABP and Impella are highly preferred. Candidates must provide references upon request.
