Anticipated End Date: 2026-09-05 Position Title: Pharmacy Tech II Job Description: Pharmacy Technician II (BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy) Anticipated Job Posting End Date: 09/05/2026 Location: Hybrid 1 - This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Work Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm during Eastern Standard Time. How you will make an impact: Verifies member information and inputs data for the pharmacists. Serves as mentor for less experienced staff. Serves as department representative on intra-departmental initiatives. Assists in formal training of associates and process improvement initiatives. Conducts reviews by utilizing appropriate scripted algorithms in compliance with department guidelines and consistent with the members eligibility, benefits and contract. Develops working partnerships with physicians, healthcare service providers, and internal and external customers. Consults with clinical reviewers. Refers treatment plans to peer clinical reviewers in accordance with established criteria/guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Requires an active, professional license, State Pharmacy Technician Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) requirements, to practice as a Pharmacy Technician within the scope of practice in a state or territory of the United States. Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience ; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Specialty Pharmacy Experience preferred. Salary and Benefits: For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the pay* range for this specific position is $21.20/hr. to $33.24/hr. Location(s): California, Colorado.
