Lumber Forklift Driver

Experienced full time forklift driver needed!!! Urgently hiring a forklift driver for the daytime position. Minimum of 1 years' full-time (8 hours/day) experience on a forklift. Must have lumber and forklift experience within the last 18 months or less. 6 AM - 2:30 PM M-F. Overtime available. Fast paced environment, indoor/outdoor work. Forklift driver responsible for production and loading and unloading trucks. Forklift certification helpful. Starting wage $19+/hour depending on experience. Operate a forklift to move/deliver lumber and/or pallets to the production line. Needs to be able to operate a skid steer. Maintain clean docks and warehouse aisles by stacking material neatly and safely. Loading and unloading by hand and using a forklift. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and reporting unsafe conditions or instances. Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or defective material issues. Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation. There is no metro bus service available to our location. Benefits: PTO, sick pay, medical/dental/vision, 401(k). Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain/maintain a forklift certification is required. Previous forklift experience is preferred and able to operate a skid steer. Previous lumber experience is also very helpful.
