Job Description Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Company seeks Structures & Payload Design Engineers for the AH‑64 Apache Airframe Integrated Product Team in Mesa, AZ. Position Responsibilities Engineering support and project leadership within an Integrated Product Team. Communicate professionally across multiple organizations and leadership levels. Develop, maintain, and modify basic structural component designs using 3‑D CAD tools or other design methods to provide product definition to engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. Develop solutions to a variety of technical problems. Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Assist with supplier development, test, and production activities, and coordinate with the supplier to optimize design and achieve program goals. Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements. Work under general to minimal direction. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Mid‑Level (Level 3) – Education or experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required. Senior (Level 4) – Education or experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience leading a cross‑functional team. Prior work experience supporting the AH‑64 Apache or the AH‑6 Little Bird helicopter. Experience in structural design process from conceptual layout phase through build-to-package release. NX CAD and Teamcenter PDM skills. Knowledge of structural design principles for aircraft primary and secondary structure. Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
