Job Description:

Caring for cardiovascular intensive care patients, particularly those who have undergone cardiac surgery. Primary nursing in a unit with a patient ratio of 1:1 for immediate post-surgical care and 1:2 for post-operative days 1-3.

Responsibilities:

Direct primary recovery care for fresh cardiac surgery patients.
Manage advanced cardiovascular equipment including ACLS, balloon pump, and impella devices.
Document patient care using Meditech Expanse.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience with cardiac surgery recovery.
ACLS certification.
Training in balloon pump, impella, hemosphere or acumen.
