Job Title: Remote SEO Specialist (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary : $1,500 - $2,200 USD monthly salary (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT (40 hours/week, includes a 30-minute lunch break)

Operating on a month-to-month, direct-client model, they prioritize fast, tangible ranking results and direct operational accountability. Built on high performance, continuous learning, and flat communication structures, they rely on sharp SEO strategists to build and execute high-impact local search campaigns.

The Role

Our Client is seeking a strategic, self-driven Local SEO Specialist to own campaign foundations and drive organic search performance for home service clients across the U.S. Reporting directly to the Lead SEO with zero middle management, this professional will audit accounts, build comprehensive 6- and 12-month SEO roadmaps, and execute hands-on technical and local optimization. This role is ideal for a seasoned local SEO operator who manages 7-10 campaigns simultaneously, treats search optimization as a strategic craft, and leverages AI platforms to amplify proven SEO frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Local Search Strategy & Account Optimization

• Conducts comprehensive Google Business Profile (GBP) audits, competitor benchmarks, and full-spectrum GBP optimizations.
• Performs end-to-end website audits covering technical SEO, on-page content, off-page signals, and competitive positioning.
• Builds and executes tailored 6-month and 12-month SEO roadmaps aligned with specific client markets and growth goals.
• Conducts local citation building, Name/Address/Phone (NAP) consistency audits, and listing cleanup across top directories.

On-Page, Content & Rank Optimization

• Executes targeted local keyword research, competitor strategy analysis, and geographic market research.
• Performs on-page optimizations including title tags, meta descriptions, header structures, and localized content updates.
• Tracks keyword rankings, analyzes performance data, and implements continuous data-driven optimization strategies.
• Supports link-building initiatives and local content optimization; maintains client-ready tracking, dashboarding, and monthly performance reporting.

Qualifications, Skills and Key Competencies

Required Qualifications

• Local SEO Experience: 3+ years of dedicated local SEO experience, specifically managing home service, builder, or contractor accounts.
• Portfolio & Proven SOPs: Ability to provide actual client work samples/audits (GBP optimizations, citation work, strategy plans) and established local SEO SOPs.
• Strategic Ownership: Demonstrated ability to build, own, and execute 6- and 12-month strategy plans rather than following basic task lists.
• Account Capacity: Proven experience managing 7-10 active client campaigns simultaneously.
• AI & Tooling Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience using local SEO tools (e.g., BrightLocal, Whitespark, Local Falcon, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and using generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude) to amplify domain expertise.
• Full-Time Exclusivity: Full-time commitment to this single role with no concurrent agency work or freelance clients.
• English Proficiency: Strong written English skills for clear, professional, client-facing reports and internal communication.
• Remote Infrastructure: Reliable high-speed internet with a documented contingency plan for power or network outages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience working within a U.S. local SEO agency focused on home service verticals.
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads, schema markup / structured data implementation, or AI prompt engineering.
• Proficiency with Slack and task management systems (e.g., Asana).
