Mammography Technologist (New Grads Accepted)- Atlanta, GA

Shifts: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensure patient comfort and safety, and comply with all regulatory requirements. This role plays a vital part in early breast cancer detection and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammographic exams in accordance with ACR and MQSA standards.
- Practice safe procedures and adhere to radiation safety measures.
- Perform screening mammograms based on proper procedures.
- Produce high-quality images for the radiologist to evaluate.
- Operate mammography equipment.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Knowledge and correct usage of medical terminology.
- Clinical knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology for mammography procedures.
- Ability to navigate and effectively use EMR and Penrad systems.
Education & Experience:
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- AART (M) Certification required.
