Forklift Operator

Part Time On-CallWe are seeking a reliable and flexible On-Call Part-Time Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations as business needs arise. Candidates must be available to work on short notice and be willing to report to work at varying times, including different shifts, as operational demands require. In this role, you will operate electric-powered industrial trucks and lifting equipment to safely move products, materials, and equipment throughout the facility. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, transporting, and staging materials while adhering to all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and able to adapt to a dynamic work schedule.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesPosition forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, transports, load and unload to a designated areaList materials and record weight, counts, and condition of frozen food items via a Radio Frequency (RF) systemComplete daily forklift maintenance/check sheetLead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand processCommunicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautionsMonitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging stationAdditional Duties And ResponsibilitiesWork with other machinery and material handling equipmentMinimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)Basic math skillsAbility to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage LogisticsAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facilityAbility to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loudPay Range:$16.00 - $26.59Why Lineage?
