INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST SENIOR

As an Information Security Analyst Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer.

Personnel shall support required Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) actions and tasks associated with ensuring compliance with all Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements in technology diverse, multi-level classification environments.

  • This involves tracking and executing RMF actions in accordance with ICD 503 (NIST 800-53) to obtain / maintain valid authorizations to include the following activities:
  • Performing IATT / ATO w/PoAM authorization request submissions
  • Coordinating, developing, and maintaining required Body of Evidence (BoE) items for system assets
  • Executing all ConMon activities within documented timelines, to include BoE collection/coordination actions and ConMon tracking tool updates
  • Tracking workflow for lien remediation/resolution activities and entering tracking tool updates
  • Evaluating system change requests and assessing changes to determine system and organizational risk
  • Coordinating and collaborating with various security stakeholders, system administrators, and other technical support personnel both within the contract and with the customer agency as directed/required
  • Providing recommendations for implementation of security controls and, when necessary, countermeasures or mitigating controls
  • Conducting regular/recurring reviews of system state and security posture to ensure that systems are being operated securely, and information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans
  • Responding to all queries and requests for applicable security information and reports
  • Providing recommendations to various stakeholders both within the contract and with the customer agency about information assurance engineering standards, implementation dependencies, and changing information assurance related technologies
  • Engagement with and use of Enterprise Security Services tools (e.g. Trellix, ACAS, Splunk) or their Self-Managed equivalents for stand-alone system assets
  • Supporting investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary to management and required security stakeholders
  • Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your cyber expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Information Security Analyst Senior must have:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

- Candidate should have at least an associate’s degree in a related field of study (or equivalent experience).
● Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Technical skills:

  • Must have experience with Intelligence Community customer
  • Must have experience working with mid and senior level government
  • Must have experience supporting RMF process for classified Government IT systems
  • Experience working with the SNOW RMF tools
  • Minimum DoD 8570 IAM Level I compliant certification required (active and valid Security+ CE | CAP | CND | Cloud+ | GSLC).
  • IAM Level II compliant certification preferred (CISSP (or Associate) | CISM | SecurityX CE | CAP | GSLC | CCISO).

● Security clearance level:TS/SCI with Polygraph
● US citizenship required
● Location: On Customer Site
