Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Maintenance Specialist position with a Local Manufacturer of Packaging. This position will pay $30.76 per hour and will work a 2/2/3 Rotating schedule from 6PM - 6AM.


Responsibilities

• Works safely together with Maintenance Mechanics to ensure that all building, equipment, and machines are running properly
• Troubleshoot issues by observing mechanical/electrical devices in operation
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices
• Utilize hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools
• Examine form and texture of parts
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts
• Document all maintenance activity
• Maintain/repair water, gas, air, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Complies with all Company Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have 3+ years of specialized industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrates Electrical / Mechanical aptitude - Thorough knowledge of basic industrial electricity, high and low voltage, and AC/DC currents
• Has experience and ability reading blueprints and technical diagrams
• Possess basic mathematical skills including all units of measure, fractions, and decimals
• Must have own tools
• Capable of walking or standing for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours; climbing stairs; working at heights and confined spaces, lifting to 50 pounds; carrying to 30 pounds; lowering to 30 pounds from a height of 4 feet; pushing to 250 pounds using carts or other various tools
• Has visual acuity and depth perception
• Capable of working in various temperatures and humidity levels
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: ear plugs, safety glasses and foot protection
