In this role you will complete a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. This position is HYBRID and requires a minimum of 2 days in office per week.What You'll Be Doing:Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience.Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.Experience in Civil Infrastructure to include, site design, roads, site grading and drainage, utilities, stormwater design on US Government projects.Proficiency in Civil 3D is desired.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Professional Engineer registration.Security Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
