Stand Up Forklift Operator - Santa Teresa
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to work with a leading logistics company in Santa Teresa. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of a fast-paced distribution facility, ensuring that materials are handled safely and accurately.
Shift Patterns
Monday-Saturday 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Pay Rates
15.00 - 16.00 USD hourly
Must-Have Requirements for Stand Up Forklift Operator
Minimum of 1 year of recent stand-up forklift experience (reach trucks or order pickers).
Ability to successfully pass an on-site practical forklift evaluation and safety certification.
Physical capability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 50–75 lbs when necessary.
Dependable transportation to and from the job site in Santa Teresa, NM.
Strong situational awareness regarding pedestrians and automated equipment in a high-traffic environment.
Ability to follow safety rules and operate machinery cautiously.
Desirable Qualifications for Stand Up Forklift Operator
Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse logistics or supply chain inventory software.
Basic math and documentation skills for accurate inventory tracking.
Strong reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative team spirit.
Role for Stand Up Forklift Operator
Safely and proficiently operate stand-up forklifts to transport materials through narrow aisles.
Efficiently move, stack, stage, and organize incoming and outgoing product shipments from pallets, skids, and trailers.
Verify product numbers, quantities, and condition of goods against order documentation utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Conduct mandatory daily pre-operational equipment safety checks and immediately report any mechanical or structural defects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work zone to uphold strict safety guidelines.
