Litigation Associate Attorney

Seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join our civil defense litigation team. The role involves handling court appearances, depositions, discovery, and assisting with trials in both Oklahoma Federal District Courts (Eastern, Northern, and Western) and Oklahoma State Courts.

We are a civil defense litigation firm representing clients in civil rights, employment, constitutional law, negligence, and insurance defense matters. We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage active litigation matters and represent clients in federal and state courts across Oklahoma. This role involves handling court appearances, depositions, discovery, case preparation, and trial participation.
• Represent clients in Oklahoma Federal District Courts (Eastern, Northern, and Western) and Oklahoma State Courts
• Conduct court appearances, depositions, and hearings
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
• Conduct client and witness interviews
• Prepare motions, pleadings, and legal documents
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience
• Active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association
• Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

Compensation

• Salary commensurate with experience
