AI Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, optimize, and future-proof our enterprise network environment with a strong focus on scalability, security, performance, and readiness for emerging AI-driven technologies. This role requires deep expertise in Cisco architecture, advanced routing and switching, and modern network design principles to support a growing and evolving business. Based on general knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and lead enterprise network architecture across LAN, WAN, wireless, data center, and cloud-connected environments. Based on general knowledge.Develop network strategies that support AI futureproofing, including scalable bandwidth, low-latency design, resilient connectivity, and infrastructure readiness for automation and data-intensive workloads. Based on general knowledge.Lead architecture standards, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives across core networking platforms. Based on general knowledge.Serve as the subject matter expert for Cisco-based environments, including routing, switching, security, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies. Based on general knowledge.Evaluate current network performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements for capacity, resilience, and operational efficiency. Based on general knowledge.Partner with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to ensure integrated and secure network solutions. Based on general knowledge.Design high-availability and disaster recovery network solutions to support business continuity. Based on general knowledge.Guide implementation teams on best practices, configuration standards, and troubleshooting for complex network initiatives. Based on general knowledge.Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and technical recommendations for leadership and engineering teams. Based on general knowledge.Assess new technologies and vendor solutions that align with long-term network and business strategy. Based on general knowledge.Required Qualifications7+ years of progressive network engineering and architecture experience, including enterprise-level design responsibility. Based on general knowledge.Deep hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies in complex enterprise environments. Based on general knowledge.Strong expertise in routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, VPNs, firewalls, wireless, and network segmentation. Based on general knowledge.Experience designing highly available, secure, and scalable networks across on-premises and cloud-connected environments. Based on general knowledge.Knowledge of network architecture considerations for AI, automation, and future-state digital transformation initiatives. Based on general knowledge.Strong understanding of network security principles, access controls, and performance optimization.
