Job Details
As our Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager, you will help build and manage the accounting functions of our company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting work and improving financial systems as a company scales.
Duties:
Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
Select AP and AR work as support is needed from Staff Accountant
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare journal entries
Monitor accounting processes and make improvements to strengthen internal controls
Prepare and review financial statements
Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Support the preparation of tax filings and regulatory reporting
Key Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience with ERP systems
Advanced Excel proficiency
