Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst with strong NetSuite expertise and a solid understanding of accounting and finance operations. This individual will serve as the bridge between Finance and Technology teams, supporting business-critical financial systems, budgeting platforms, process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to become the organization's internal NetSuite subject matter expert while partnering closely with accounting leadership and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for finance and accounting system enhancements

• Support and administer NetSuite, including saved searches, custom reports, workflows, roles, permissions, and system configurations

• Analyze current-state processes and recommend scalable future-state solutions

• Identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvements, and increased operational efficiency

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Administer and maintain NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB) environments

• Manage budget hierarchies, dimensions, metadata updates, and planning structures

• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution efforts with business and technical teams

• Support system integrations, upgrades, testing, and implementation activities

• Participate in business acceptance testing and validation efforts

• Create and maintain process documentation, technical specifications, and workflow diagrams

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver successful solutions

• Assist with product backlog prioritization and enhancement planning

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on NetSuite administration experience

• Experience supporting ERP platforms and financial systems

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes

• Experience creating saved searches, reports, dashboards, workflows, and security configurations

• Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, Financial Systems Analyst, or NetSuite Analyst experience

• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions

• Exposure to system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and enhancements

• Experience supporting budgeting and planning applications

• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Has served as the primary NetSuite resource for an accounting or finance team

• Understands both the business and technical sides of financial systems

• Comfortable working directly with accounting leadership and business stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Self-starter who can work independently and manage competing priorities

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Able to balance technical system administration with business process improvement initiatives

• Stable work history with demonstrated career progression

• NetSuite Certification is highly desirable

• Experience with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Essbase, Oracle products, or insurance industry environments is a strong plus
