National Sales Training - Training Coordinator

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Training Coordinator is to work with the Production & Warehouse staff to track and maintain their training records. This job also develops & performs Health & Safety training as required by the Health & Safety Department. They will also assist in updating the learning management system with training records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assesses training requirements for targeted areas based on performance metrics, quality indicators and other information
• Designs and/or prepares training/instructional materials, teaching aids and devices with input from appropriate departments
• Edits and revises existing training presentations for deployment online, including adding vocal commentary, video clips and animated graphics
• Assist in updating an online learning management system and established best practices for processes and content
• Delivers/coordinates presentations, stand-up training or instruction to staff, customers or the general public (including on-line)
• Completes organizational assessments using a variety of proven methods to identify and solve complex organizational problems and contribute to new growth opportunities
• Facilitates collaboration to find innovative business solutions
• Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of training and develops countermeasures as appropriate
• Coordinates outside training resources as required including vendor evaluation, resource procurement, etc.
• Develop and maintain training requirements for each appropriate job description (non-exempt/exempt)
• Interface with HR personnel to ensure that completed training by current personnel is reflected in the HRIS or appropriate records system
• Accurately assesses the cultural environment and promotes diversity
• Coordinates with participants and department supervisors about training programs
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers by being proactive and responsive
• Work closely with the Health & Safety Department to update a perform OSHA courses
• And other tasks as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to regularly stand, walk and carry objects up to 70 lbs.
• Exposure to the following elements: noise, heat, cold, dust, oil and grease.
• Office/professional desk work (40% of work hours) and Factory/Warehouse Environment (60%)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Servant Leader
• Understand and apply adult training principles

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to drive powered industrial trucks and communicate safety best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform duties with minimal direction

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $46,239–$73,247 annually . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
