*Job Description & Requirements* Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 10;Weekend Pay Rate: $92.15 - $99.75 This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: * Annual volume: Approximately 29,000 patient visits annually (80 patients/day) * Shift times: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM; no call required * Back up specialties available: 24-hour Emergency Medicine physician coverage; affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center (Level II Trauma Center) * Physician and ancillary support: 24-hour physician coverage, 2-4 nurses, and 1 imaging technician available 24/7 * Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EMR training provided during orientation; EMR system not specified * Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). * Active Missouri State License *Facility Location* The fourth largest city in Missouri, Independence is known as the "Queen City of the Trails."
