Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests, and devising personalized treatment strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in partnership with physicians or independently based on your qualifications
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and effective management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Participating in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain these within 90 days
