Events Education Specialist Seasonal

Job Description The Events & Education Specialist is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly’s mission through events and educational offerings. Reports to the Events & Education Manager. Plans, schedules and executes public and private events including specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, buyouts, press events, tastings and private receptions Writes and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages online Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events Builds and manages client lists and relationships Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planning Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills Outstanding professional communication skills and editorial skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of Italian wine and food gastronomy Proficiency in Italian language preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with match or RRSP Bonus program Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
