Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, no on-call requirements. Must be available for 4 weekend shifts during the contract.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit at a Level 4 designated maternal center. The facility provides advanced care for complex maternal patients at any gestation and features 22 beds, including 16 labor beds. As an RN, you will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting a diverse group of staff and delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to high-risk maternal patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist in vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries.
• Perform triage and manage labor and delivery processes.
• Participate in surgical procedures as required, including D&C and tubal ligations.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and support staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or high-risk maternal care preferred.
• Experience in circulating operating room procedures and triage is a must.
