Material Handler / Overhead Crane Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Maple Heights

Pay: $16.50–$18.00/hour (based on shift & position)

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 7:00am–3:00pm
• 2nd Shift (TOP PRIORITY): 3:00pm–1:00am (4x10’s, Mon–Thurs)
• 12-Hour Shifts: 5:00am–5:00pm or 5:00pm–5:00am

Our client is a leading supplier of high-strength steel, wear- and impact-resistant metals, military aluminum, and armor plate. This is a great opportunity to get in with a company that works on specialized, high-performance materials and offers long-term stability.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating overhead cranes to move steel materials safely throughout the facility
• Using tow motors (forklifts) to transport and stage product
• Loading/unloading steel plates and materials
• Assisting with fabrication support and general material handling
• Reading tape measures and ensuring accurate material movement
• Following all safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Overhead crane and/or tow motor experience required
• Comfortable working with heavy materials (steel)
• Ability to read a tape measure (big plus)
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Mechanical mindset—someone who likes working with their hands and equipment
