Cyber Infrastructure Systems Administrator

Salary: $80,500 - 149,500 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification, such as CCNA Security, Security+ CE, or a higher-level certification.
• Preferred: Experience as a DoD COMSEC Manager or supporting COMSEC account management, including safeguarding, inventorying, and controlling cryptographic equipment and keying material.
• Preferred: Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in a DoD, federal, or other regulated environment, including patching, hardening, user administration, and troubleshooting.
• Preferred: Experience with virtualization and container technologies such as KVM, VMware, vSphere/vCenter, OpenShift, or Docker.

• Administer, maintain, and support Windows servers and workstations in cleared enterprise or mission-critical DoD environments.
• Deploy operating system patches, security updates, and hotfixes according to approved schedules and security requirements.
• Apply and maintain system hardening measures in accordance with DoD security standards, STIGs, and organizational cybersecurity policies.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities, supporting RMF controls, POA&M tracking, and audit readiness.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health to maintain mission-system reliability and continuity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and access issues while following security procedures.
• Maintain system configurations, change records, and technical documentation for configuration management and compliance inspections.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, and program teams on accreditation, incident response, and secure operations in classified or controlled environments.
