Navigation Client Leader

About the Role The Navigation Client Leader will be accountable for the overall management of their book of business. They are responsible for strategic direction of assigned clients, client satisfaction, retention, and engagement of Alight products. The role requires developing relationships with key decision makers within existing clients to successfully demonstrate value. Responsibilities Guiding clients by recommending and executing best practices for products, while seamlessly interfacing and gaining trust of individuals at all levels of the client organization. Leading the renewal strategy development, packaging, presentation, and negotiation activities to retain clients; responsible for leading the pre‑renewal internal strategy meetings on behalf of Navigation and identifying issues, needs, opportunities, threats, and alternatives to be proposed. Working collaboratively with the Client Success Manager to ensure day‑to‑day relationship management activities and that product progress stays on schedule and meets prescribed standards. Establishing and improving positive strategic relationships with client teams and executives; owning development and execution of strategic client business cases and reporting delivery to clients and broker/consultant partners. Providing development, execution, and problem solving to define solutions to increase and maintain engagement rates in products. Assisting leadership in mentoring team members to ensure best practices are followed by other client‑facing associates; acting as a leader in all interactions with team members and other enterprise associates. Managing client concerns by coordinating participation of internal resources to maintain satisfaction, retention, and client performance goals; providing creative solutions that support ROI/VOI/performance‑based initiatives and identifying areas for process improvement. Conducting formal review meetings with clients to review performance, identify and solve client concerns, and discuss opportunities and new ideas. Assisting in the new business process to scope and estimate work for existing and future clients, partnering with Strategic Account Executive (if assigned). Requirements 7+ years of success in account management or client success within a carrier, consulting/brokerage firm, or healthcare vendor. Demonstrated track record managing mid‑to‑large employer accounts (5,000+ lives). Ability to understand and develop financial projections, P&L, and other performance metrics. Solid organizational, management, administrative, and human relations skills. Exceptional negotiation and leveraging skills; persuasive and tactful when negotiating with consultants, brokers, team members, peers, and superiors. Demonstrated success meeting goals and managing a complex book of business. Ability to facilitate and guide strategic planning discussions to help the client define key objectives. Able to listen, inquire, clarify, and translate strategic discussion into a concise, measurable action plan. Pay Range Salary Pay Range Minimum: $115,000. Maximum: $135,000. Pay Transparency Statement: Alight considers a variety of factors in determining compensation, including experience, education, certification, market data, internal equity, and geography, and makes these decisions on an individualized, non‑discriminatory basis. Bonus and/or incentive eligibility are determined by role and level.
