Job Summary

The Product Development Coordinator will serve as the representative for PD at the Operations facility in Whiting, Vermont where the Tata Harper Skincare products are manufactured. They will be responsible for validating new incoming packaging components. They will be responsible for setting up new product standards for the Operations team. They will be responsible for being present at new product pilots, and to trouble-shoot any issues that arise.

The Product Development Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative tasks pertaining to the department including but not limited to: ship testing new packaging, validating new packaging, set-up of back-end information in SAP, GS1, and in other communication tools (Proof HQ, Click-Up). They will also be required to assist with continuous improvement projects for existing items including: updates to packaging, sustainability initiatives, and provide information to Sales for retailer communications.

The Product Development Coordinator will be the liaison between PD and other teams: Operations, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Creative, Sales, R&D, and Brand. They will work closely with 3rd party manufacturers and vendor partners.

Principal Accountabilities

• Aid in the launch of new products on time and within specifications given to the Product Development team by Brand Marketing.
• Provide Operations the items and information needed to manufacture Tata Harper Skincare products to the determined standard.
• Manage key systems and inputs related to new launches, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure launch milestones are being met.
• Partner with Supply Chain during monthly forecasting meetings.
• Partner with Creative on pre-launch needs for all channels.
• Partner with R&D on packaging testing, validation, and documentation
• Work with 3rd party manufacturers to ensure THS products meet expectations of Brand Marketing.

Qualification and Experience

• High School Diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in product development, project management, or business administration.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience with natural products, and beauty preferred.

Skill Sets

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365. SAP experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading packaging specifications, MSDS, and other technical documents
• Ability to write SOP documents and work instructions for vendors.
• Experience using Proof HQ, Click-Up, Asana, or other project management tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
