Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (School)

TactStaff EDU is hiring a full-time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school caseload in the Houston, Texas area for the 20262027 school year.

This is a hybrid school-based SLP opportunity, offering one remote day per week while the remaining days are completed onsite at the school. The SLP will support elementary students in Kindergarten through 4th grade and will have the assistance of an SLPA, providing an excellent opportunity to focus on clinical services, student progress, collaboration, and IEP goals without managing the entire caseload independently.

School Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

• 
  Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students in grades K4
  
  
• 
  Evaluate students' speech, language, communication, and related needs as appropriate
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals
  
  
• 
  Provide direct and indirect speech-language services
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with special education teachers, general education teachers, administrators, occupational therapists, school psychologists, social workers, and other members of the educational team
  
  
• 
  Work collaboratively with an SLPA to support student services and maximize caseload efficiency
  
  
• 
  Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews
  
  
• 
  Complete required documentation, progress notes, evaluations, and service records
  
  
• 
  Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
  
  
• 
  Support students with articulation, language, fluency, social communication, receptive/expressive language, and other communication needs
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with district, state, and professional requirements
  
  
• 
  Provide consultation and education to school staff and families when appropriate
  
  
• 
  Utilize the remote workday for eligible documentation, planning, collaboration, and other responsibilities as permitted by the district
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  
  
• 
  Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility
  
  
• 
  ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
  
  
• 
  Experience working with children or in a pediatric setting preferred
  
  
• 
  School-based SLP experience preferred but not required
  
  
• 
  Experience with IEPs, evaluations, progress monitoring, and special education services preferred
  
  
• 
  Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary school team
