As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients. You will be responsible for a variety of nursing care procedures, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and compassionate care. This position primarily serves the ICU but may require floating to the Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Pediatrics during low census periods.

• Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU
• Support inpatient care and recovery for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients
• Adhere to doctors‘ orders, standards of care, and hospital policies
• Work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain and update patient records and care plans

Requirements:

• Need 3 years experience in ICU setting
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within 6 months of hire
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire
