Shawnee Mission, KS | Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards within the ED environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Availability to work night shifts, including every other weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
