Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software infrastructure for collecting, processing, and storing robotics data such as sensor data, telemetry, and logs.
• Build developer tools for debugging robotics systems and internal infrastructure services for inspecting and validating real-time robot operations.
• Develop distributed ingestion systems and telemetry pipelines that interface with robotics runtimes and machine-learning workflows.
• Implement data security and privacy best practices.
• Collaborate with customers, product managers, researchers, and engineering teams to customize data pipelines for analysis and research.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience contributing to medium-to-large software projects.
• Production proficiency in C++ or Go, or advanced Python experience involving concurrent systems, performance optimization, and architectural design.
• Experience with cloud platforms and their data services, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, data governance and compliance, frontend development, or robotics systems is preferred.
