Billing Software Engineer

Seeking a highly skilled Billing Software Engineer, this full-time remote position will manage the development and integration of billing software components, focusing on pricing plans and ensuring a seamless end-to-end billing experience. Key Responsibilities Design, build, test, and document core billing software components as part of an engineering team Integrate with third-party billing platforms and develop metering, pricing, and rating logic for various billing models Collaborate with product, sales, and finance teams to support custom billing requirements and ensure accurate tracking of customer usage data Required Qualifications Experience in backend software engineering with a focus on billing, payments, or financial systems Deep knowledge of SaaS billing models and experience integrating with third-party billing platforms Proficient in SQL and data modeling, particularly for financial and usage data Strong proficiency in Go or another programming language, with a willingness to work in Go Experience designing and managing distributed systems and microservices
