Medical Director Veterinarian

Our client is a small animal hospital seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian to join their team, providing care exclusively to cats and dogs. The hospital has built a strong reputation for its standard of veterinary care, reflected in an exceptional 4.7-star Google rating.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will combine comprehensive general practice medicine with leadership responsibilities, delivering high-quality clinical care while providing guidance and leadership within the hospital. Clinical responsibilities will encompass the full scope of GP medicine, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable taking on additional leadership responsibilities alongside their clinical caseload. Doctor hours are open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. Additional services include orthopedics, acupuncture, laser therapy and urgent care, providing a varied range of treatment options for its small animal patients. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and is closed on Sundays.

Team
The Lead Veterinarian will join a team of four DVMs alongside a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
