Job Title Food Service Specialist I or II Job Description Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, OK is currently hiring for food service staff. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple food preparation and serving tasks efficiently. Minimum Qualifications and Experience LevelI: No experience required. LevelII: One year of experience in a commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or one year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation. Special Requirements Applicants must submit to a physical examination and meet the requirements of lifting/carrying 50pounds occasionally, 20pounds frequently, and being able to push and pull a maximum force of 50pounds. They must also be willing and able to fulfill any job‑related travel normally associated with this position and possess a valid driver’s license. Employment Details Full‑time shift position. Shifts are 8 hours in duration. Both Saturday and Sunday are required days. Scheduled days vary – 5 days a week (40‑hour workweek). Compensation LevelI: $14.66 per hour. LevelII: $15.63 per hour. Benefits Allowance, 15 days sick leave, and 15 days annual leave per year. Up to 7% 401(k) match.
