Quality Assurance TechnicianThis role focuses on enhancing the experience of internal and external customers by monitoring supplier products, improving inspection processes, and recording and analyzing returned goods and scrap. The Quality Assurance Technician plays a key role in ensuring that incoming materials and finished products meet defined quality standards and that quality issues are identified, documented, and resolved in a timely and accurate manner.ResponsibilitiesExecute quality assurance and quality control processes for incoming materials to ensure they meet acceptable quality levels for designated product groups.Support assigned product groups across all quality functions, including incoming inspection, in?process inspection, outgoing inspection, and reliability testing.Process Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) and actively contribute to waste reduction through RGA and scrap reduction programs.Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare clear, accurate inspection reports and documentation.Support the investigation of customer complaints by gathering data, performing analysis, and assisting in root cause identification and corrective actions.Support the gage calibration process to ensure measurement equipment is properly maintained and calibrated according to required standards.Record and analyze data related to returned goods and internal/external scrap generation to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Maintain accurate and detailed quality records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and relevant standards.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control.At least a few years of hands?on quality control experience, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.Ability to measure products accurately using appropriate tools and equipment.Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings and matching products to specifications.Minimum 2?year degree in Engineering, Quality, or a closely related discipline.Competent PC skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, and other basic MS applications.Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards is preferred.The role offers a stable first?shift schedule and a clean, high?tech environment with significant opportunities for growth and technical training.
