Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• BLS required
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehab mindset
• Focus on treatment rather than evaluation only

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Floating may be required to another unit in the same building

Location Highlights

Highlands, North Carolina offers a mountain setting with access to notable outdoor destinations. Dry Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are both within about 10 miles of town, and Nantahala National Forest surrounds the area with hiking and scenic drives. Downtown Highlands includes Highlands Playhouse and The Bascom: A Center for the Visual Arts, and the area is known for a quieter lifestyle with local shops and restaurants. Cashiers is about 12 miles away and provides access to Whiteside Mountain Trail, while Gorges State Park is within roughly 30 miles for additional hiking and waterfall viewing.
