Job Title Physical Therapist – Sports Medicine Rehab Department Ambulatory Services – Gahanna Physical Therapy Scope of Position The Sports Medicine Rehab Physical Therapist is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team‑oriented sports medicine rehabilitation program. These services are offered via outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with orthopedic and sports‑related injuries. The sports medicine team members report to the rehabilitation team leader as part of the OSU Sports Medicine & Rehab program structure. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. The team members also work collaboratively with other rehabilitation staff, including rehab assistants and athletic trainers. Minimum Education and Qualifications Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current licensure with the State of Ohio, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board. All academic degrees granted from an accredited institution. Current American Heart Association BLS certification preferred. Location & Schedule Location: Outpatient Care Gahanna (0894) Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: Rotating Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage, with Ohio State paying a significant portion of the cost.
