Role Overview

As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your work will directly contribute to the well-being of our patients and the efficiency of our healthcare team, ensuring a positive and healing environment for all.

What You Will Do

• Assist in providing basic patient care, including taking vital signs, hygiene activities, feeding, and bathing.
• Administer basic treatments such as preparing procedure setups, measuring intake and output, and applying cold/heat packs.
• Respond to call lights promptly, distribute water and linens, and assist with non-clinical tasks as directed by the RN.
• Help transport patients and specimens, and obtain pharmacy orders as needed.
• Support the unit by maintaining a clean and organized environment and ensuring patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current AHA BLS certification or obtain within the first week of hire through HEART CODE.
