• Patient Ratios: 1:6 maximum
• EHR: Paragon
• Patient Population: Adults 18+ with a majority being 65+

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Years of Experience: 2+ years
• Must Have Skills: PICC/CVC management, wound care
• Float Requirements: Potential to float between facilities on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience

Unit Description

This Medical Surgical unit emphasizes teamwork and collaborative patient care. It provides inpatient, observation, and swing bed services without performing surgical procedures on-site. There is a strong presence of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, and 24-hour provider coverage, along with imaging and laboratory services available at all times.
