Work Environment

As part of our hospital-based team, you will work onsite in a dynamic and collaborative environment alongside licensed physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured and predictable work schedule. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties as a Physical Therapist Assistant will include:

• Assisting licensed physical therapists in developing and executing tailored therapy programs aimed at enhancing mobility, relieving pain, and minimizing physical disabilities.
• Monitoring patient progress and communicating findings to the supervising physical therapist, ensuring that treatment plans are adjusted as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation for each patient encountered, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
• Independently evaluating patient needs and implementing functional therapeutic activities that support their rehabilitation goals.

You will play a vital role in helping these patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence through personalized care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program related to Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in clinical patient care as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license issued by the state of Florida.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques, particularly those applicable to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
