Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Per Diem pharmacy position is available for a skilled pharmacist to provide vacation coverage in a busy retail environment. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with pharmacist hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role requires dedicated attention with no lunch break during shifts, supporting a seamless workflow.

Responsibilities include verifying and processing over 200 prescriptions daily, using PioneerRx software to manage data entry and verification tasks. The pharmacist will handle phone inquiries, product verification, and signing for controlled/narcotic deliveries. Though immunizations are not part of this role, you will work alongside a team of three full-time pharmacy technicians supporting daily operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and active Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with PioneerRx or similar pharmacy management software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage high-volume prescription verification with accuracy

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Pharmacy open 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, no scheduled lunch break
• Vacation coverage, including dates such as November 25th
