Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a Childcare Preschool Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

· Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth

· Create a fun and safe learning environment

· Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime

· Maintain the health and safety of all students

· Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.

· Developing age-appropriate socialization skills in children.

· Encouraging positive behavior and good manners.

· Using various learning methods such as stories, games, and drawing to intellectually stimulate children.

· Identifying behavioral problems and developing appropriate strategies to address them.

· Attending staff meetings, conferences, and workshops.

· Holding regular parent-teacher meetings to address any issues, concerns, or parent complaints.

· Providing a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.

· Communicating with parents and providing updates on children’s progress.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED.

· State Training and Registry System (STARS) certification is advantageous.

· CPR & First Aid (Infant & Adult)

· Bloodborne Pathogens Training

· Clear criminal background check.

· Clean TB test

· Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
