Role Description The Medical Assistant at AIM for Wellbeing supports physicians and healthcare practitioners in delivering integrative care to patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting with examinations and medical procedures. The role also involves coordinating patient flow, preparing treatment rooms, managing clinical supplies, and providing clear patient instructions related to wellness plans and follow-up care. The Medical Assistant will communicate with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, support scheduling and documentation needs, and help ensure a smooth, efficient clinic environment. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kenwood, OH. Qualifications Strong patient care skills, including taking vital signs, rooming patients, and assisting with examinations and procedures. Competence in clinical documentation, medical record management, and basic computer and EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Organizational and time-management abilities to support clinic workflow, scheduling, and coordination of patient services. Commitment to integrative and preventive medicine, with interest in conventional, alternative, and functional medicine approaches. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification or registration as a Medical Assistant preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, infection control, and safety standards in an outpatient clinical setting. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in patient interactions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
