Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist III - Float at Rocky Mount, VA! This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | Flexible between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST) Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $21-23/hour (Based on years of experience & education) Note: 1. Candidate must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record. 2. Floaters are eligible to submit mileage between work locations for expense reimbursement. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing. Verify patient demographics and obtain patient signatures after venipuncture to ensure specimen labeling accuracy. Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection following established procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and required records. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience. Travel to multiple Patient Service Centers (PSCs) and physician office locations with minimal notice. Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency in high-volume environments. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
