We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to partner with an orthopedic surgeon in a growing practice that offers both clinic-based care and surgical support. This is a unique opportunity to help build orthopedic services in Juneau while serving the communities of Southeast Alaska.The program will work closely with Primary Care providers throughout Southeast Alaska, creating a robust referral base and supporting SEARHC's vision of providing comprehensive care close to home. Patients who require surgery will have access to coordinated orthopedic services through both Juneau and Sitka, minimizing disruption to care and improving outcomes. One medical assistant per provider, Orthopedic nurse case manager, and clinical assistants. Ancillary services include Mammogram, CT, DEXA, Ultrasound including ECHO, X?ray, laboratory services, and MRI.Patient Volume: 12-14 patients per day in clinic, including telemedicine, and four hours of administrative time weekly. EMR and tools include Meditech, Dragon Dictation, and DAX AI assisted documentation.Position Details: Manages acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as fractures, joint disorders, and sports injuries. Performs pre-operative assessments, including patient education, risk evaluation, and coordination of necessary testing.
