Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide critical care nursing services in the intensive care unit, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. Deliver high-level compassionate care to critically ill patients while adhering to hospital protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition continuously and document clinical findings accurately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, care procedures, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license with applicable state certification.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current and active.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Exhibit strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, with dependable attendance.
