Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Full Time CNA position available for evening shifts, requiring five days a week with every other weekend and holiday. NYS Nursing Assistant Certification and a minimum of one year experience as a licensed CNA in a long-term care setting are required. The role involves assisting residents with daily living needs such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care as per the care plan. Maintaining resident safety and health environment is essential, including responding to call lights and using safety equipment to prevent falls. Support residents with meals by delivering trays, helping with feeding, and honoring food preferences. Assist with mobility and rehabilitation needs, including range of motion exercises, walking, transfers, and proper positioning using aids. Take and document vital signs like temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure accurately. Measure and record weight, intake, and output as part of routine care. Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes of residents. Provide social and emotional support to residents through interaction and companionship. Ensure the maintenance of confidentiality and the rights of residents at all times. Promptly report resident concerns, changes, or refusals to the nursing staff. Complete all required documentation in a timely manner per established protocols. Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks may lead to contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
