Location: Mocksville, NC
Position Type: Full-time, on-site
Regular Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with flexibility. Additional hours available based on production needs

As a Shed Builder, you'll construct high-quality portable buildings from start to finish inside our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Read and follow construction plans and floor layouts

• Frame floors, walls, and roofs

• Cut, trim, and prepare building materials

• Install siding, trim, windows, and doors

• Install metal roofing or shingles

• Build lofts, shelving, workbenches, and custom features

• Nail, caulk, route, and finish siding

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment

• Obtain and maintain forklift certification

• Work independently while collaborating with the production team

• Maintain Liberty's quality standards while meeting production goals

• Perform other duties as assigned

This is a full-time, commission-based production position with uncapped earning potential.

Your income is directly tied to your productivity and the quality of your work. Unlike many construction jobs, you have significant control over your earnings.

Builders are expected to work at least 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be available based on production needs. Compensation is administered in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws.

Typical earnings:

• Most builders earn $80,000+ annually

• Top performers earn $120,000 to $130,000+ annually

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Two or more years of carpentry or construction experience preferred

• Ability to read and follow construction plans

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

The physical requirements listed below are essential functions of the position:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed

• Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds

• Ability to climb ladders

• Comfort completing tasks up to six feet off the ground

• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and a forklift

Our builders work primarily inside a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, with occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

This is an active, hands-on production environment where you'll spend your day building, not sitting behind a desk.

Employees should be comfortable working around typical manufacturing conditions, including:

• Sawdust

• Paint and stain fumes

• Machinery and power tools

• High levels of production noise

• Changing indoor and outdoor temperatures
