About the Position

Job Title: RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care OR experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Description: Travel opportunity for an RN in the Operating Room. Shifts are from 07:00 to 19:00. The unit has 23 operating rooms and a staff of 70. Day shift personnel typically include 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. The patient ratio is 1:1. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should have experience in acute care OR settings. Preferred experience includes orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, and robotics procedures. Elective surgical cases performed on the unit include orthopedic, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, and urology.
