NSS Exteriors is hiring an Architectural Sheet Metal, Siding & Skylight Installer to join our growing team.

We are a Chicagoland specialty contractor specializing in architectural sheet metal, skylights, ACM panels, metal siding, Kalwall panels, flashing, and other exterior building components.

This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in their work and wants the opportunity to learn new skills and grow with the company.

What You'll Do:

• Install skylights and daylighting systems.
• Install ACM (aluminum composite material) panels.
• Install Kalwall panels.
• Install architectural sheet metal.
• Fabricate and install roofing sheet metal.
• Install coping, flashing, trim, and other exterior metal components.
• Install metal siding and exterior cladding.
• Read measurements, layouts, plans, and drawings.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Work from ladders and aerial lifts.
• Maintain a safe and organized jobsite.
• Work as part of a crew while also completing tasks independently.
• Learn new installation and fabrication techniques as your experience grows.

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ year of construction or related trade experience preferred.

• Experience in any of the following is a plus:

  • Architectural sheet metal.
  • ACM/aluminum composite panels.
  • Metal siding.
  • Coping and flashing.
  • Skylight installation or repair.
  • Roofing.
  • Carpentry.
  • Exterior construction.
• Construction experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Comfortable using ladders and aerial lifts.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable and willing to work a consistent Monday – Friday schedule.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in any of these areas is helpful, but you do not need experience with everything on the list:

• Architectural sheet metal fabrication.
• ACM/aluminum composite panels.
• Skylight installation or repair.
• Kalwall.
• Commercial roofing.
• Metal siding.
• Flashing/waterproofing.
• Construction layout and measurements.
• Aerial lifts.
• Reading construction plans or drawings.
