The Fintech Operations Analyst role provides part-time operational support for client programs by managing departmental processes and ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements. This role reports to the VP Network Operations Manager and requires availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance Monitoring and Risk Reporting

• Monitors transactional and compliance reports to detect parameter breaches, regulatory violations, or potential fraudulent activity.
• Conducts thorough account reviews and prepares Unusual Activity Reports for the Financial Crimes Risk Management team in line with established procedures.

2. Automated Clearing House (ACH) Processing and Regulatory Compliance

• Reviews and resolves ACH-related inquiries and exception items, completing required transaction processing, account maintenance, and follow-up per regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Reviews ACH return requests and supporting documentation to ensure accurate, timely processing in accordance with NACHA Operating Rules and departmental procedures.

3. Payment and Account Transaction Support

• Processes government-related payment activity accurately and on time in accordance with federal regulations and departmental procedures.
• Handles client and cardholder requests to issue checks for remaining account balances, debiting funds with correct transaction codes and closing accounts or cards per the cardholder agreement.
• Responds to check-related inquiries, including initiating stop payments and issuing replacement checks.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Program Support

• Collaborates with internal departments to support account review, restriction, closure, and remediation processes, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and follow-up.
• Builds strong working relationships with program operations managers to address client issues and support operational problem-solving.
• Assists with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure seamless program execution.

5. Client Relationship Management

• Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
• Supports assigned projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
• Ability to take feedback and seek direction quickly.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-tasking team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and work across the multiple systems used to support client programs.
• Demonstrates strong motivation, accountability, and resilience in pursuing goals, delivering high-quality results, and continuously improving performance.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to learn and use approved artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and work quality, while keeping use compliant with Bank policies.

• Unusual Activity Reports and compliance reviews are completed accurately and on schedule.
• ACH inquiries, exceptions, and returns are resolved within regulatory timeframes.
• Government-related payment activity is processed accurately with no compliance exceptions.
• Client and cardholder requests are resolved promptly with high satisfaction.
• Strong cross-functional relationships speed issue resolution and program execution.
