Job Summary
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Nurse position in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing direct patient care for adult patients in a Med Tele (Medical Telemetry) setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The position requires flexibility to float on a rotational basis and will be working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The assignment is for 13 weeks with guaranteed weekly minimum hours of 36, starting on 09/07/2026.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, , minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri), BLS certification from AHA, NIHSS (may be submitted without but must be obtained prior to start), 1 year Telemetry experience, experience and competence in drug titration
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required on a rotational basis
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability, evaluates effectiveness of care, and coordinates with other departments. Performs duties consistent with hospital standards and nursing practice acts. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs. and significant bending and stooping.
